Begin by initiating the shipment creation process. Fill in essential details like origin, destination, cargo type, and any special instructions. Choose transportation options, including mode and additional services.
After entering the shipment details, at the bottom of the page, you have two options to choose from:
Request Quote from Forwarders:
Select this option if you want to initiate a Request for Quote (RFQ) process.
I Have Nominated a Forwarder for this Shipment:
Choose this option if you've already nominated a forwarder or if you prefer not to run an RFQ process.
Following that, two buttons are presented.
Inviting a Forwarder from “Forwarder List” Upon selecting "Invite a Forwarder," you will access the Forwarder List, allowing you to choose your designated forwarder and/or extend invitations to new forwarders.
Adding a new Forwarder to your “Forwarder List” When you click on "Invite New Forwarders," you'll be presented with the required fields to fill in and invite a new forwarder.
Amending the Quotation after acceptance Forwarders can edit proposals after being accepted and then the cargo owner can proceed with approval.
